Aside from having one of the coolest URLs we've seen, this macabre morgue houses sundry tales of odd departure. No, not people who've stumbled clumsily on their way out the front door, but people who have perished in a unique way. Joy! Just in time for Halloween, and not for the squeamish (thankfully, we found no pictures), Ain't No Way To Go breaks up its offerings into 10 chapters, each with feature-length articles and easier-to-digest "news nuggets" pulled from various newspapers and magazines. We all hold a certain morbid fascination with death, and this homespun site feeds that fixation in a unique and sometimes oddly humorous way.

Even though this consortium of digital video disc (DVD) manufacturers continues to stab itself in the back —and shoot itself in the foot—with its inability to form a standard format (will that be Betamax or VHS?), consumers are slowly starting to buy into the technology.
